O_O Washbasin

If ‘daring is momentarily losing balance,’ then the freestanding O_O washbasin, designed by Bartoli Design for Rexa, dares with perfection. Winner of the BigSee Product Design Award 2022. The cylinders of the base and the sink, despite having different proportions, combine in absolute formal harmony, creating a balance of leaps and volumes with sculptural significance that gives life to an object with simple and readable geometric shapes. A geometric composition studied to the millimeter where the basin, significantly protruding from the base, exhibits a sort of suspended equilibrium.
